Eli Delbaere is a painter and arts educator. Drawn to creating big immersive environments, his murals are known for their blend of figuration and abstraction, carving a niche for fact and fantasy to collide. ✶A modern Druid, Eli’s idiosyncratic visual language draws from his Celtic heritage, combining ancient art-making rituals with magic, mythology and ambiguous symbolism. Primarily self-taught, Eli believes that art is a form of play, art can be made by anyone, and art can be made out of anything. This informs his focus on poster design and muralism: artforms which are functional, fundamentally accessible, and radical. ✶Eli is a graduate of the 2026 cohort of the London School of Muralism, and he aims to continue leading participatory murals. He has years of experience teaching art to all ages and abilities, especially creative children. His imperfect work is found in unconventional, non-institutional spaces such as squats, raves, schools, streets, zines, community centres, bedrooms and DIY venues. He lives in London – get in touch to start a project together! ✶
