Chinese brush artist Carry Hornby returns to Crofton Park for her 2026 solo exhibition, presenting twelve new works that she describes as paintings of the heart. Using ancient oracle scripts, the earliest known form of Chinese writing, each piece translates a biblical reflection into brushwork, combining personal spirituality with the rhythmic discipline of traditional calligraphy. Hornby trained in Taiwan and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. She has exhibited widely across South London and held classes at Forest Hill, Sydenham and Crofton Park libraries. Open daily 11am to 5pm. Meet the artist on Saturday 30 May, 4.30 to 5.30pm.
